1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using aklen.net ("the Website"), booking an advisory session via Cal.com, or engaging in professional consultations, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not book a session or use the Website.
2. Nature of Advisory Consultations
Consultation bookings (e.g., $300 USD / 30 minutes via Cal.com and Google Meet) provide high-level technical diligence briefings on payment architectures, risk operations, conversational AI, and technology carve-outs:
- Informational Briefing: Consultations are intended to assist corporate executives, Private Equity (PE) sponsors, Venture Capital (VC) investors, and diligence teams in assessing operational considerations.
- No Fiduciary Relationship: Participation in an advisory call does not create a fiduciary, broker-dealer, investment advisory, or attorney-client relationship.
- Independent Discretion: Clients maintain sole responsibility for any commercial transactions, mergers, investments, or technical deployments they undertake.
3. Booking, Payment Processing & Stripe Terms
- Payment via Stripe: Consultation fees are processed securely via Stripe Payments (a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor). We never store or access raw payment card numbers on our servers.
- Statement Descriptor: Charges processed through Stripe will appear on your cardholder statement as AKLEN.NET.
- Booking Confirmation: Bookings are scheduled and confirmed upon successful completion of payment authorization through Cal.com and Stripe.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
All bookings and paid consultation sessions are strictly governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy:
- 48-Hour Full Refund Window: You may cancel or reschedule your scheduled call for a full refund up to 48 hours prior to the appointed consultation start time.
- Notice Requirement: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled call, or failure to attend the scheduled video meeting ("no-show"), are non-refundable.
5. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure
Both parties agree to treat all business plans, diligence inquiries, and operational discussions shared during consultations as strictly confidential. Neither party will disclose proprietary trade secrets or non-public company data shared in confidence during an advisory briefing without prior written consent.
6. Intellectual Property
The content, interactive 3D Orbital Career Journey, essays, code architectures, and branding on aklen.net are the intellectual property of Aklen Altinel. Clients retain full ownership of their proprietary materials and diligence questions provided for discussion.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Aklen Altinel be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including lost investment profits, business interruption, or failed transactions) arising from or relating to advisory consultations or Website use. Total aggregate liability under any circumstances is strictly capped at the total fee paid for the specific consultation session in dispute.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of England and Wales.
